How do we provide all these services without you having to pay anything? Where's the catch?
(1) If you're involved in an accident that isn't your fault you have the legal right to be put back to the situation you would have been in had the accident never occurred
That's the law and it is fundamental to why we make the promises and deliver the services that we do. Take our like-for-like replacement vehicle service, for example:
Let's say you drive an Audi A6 2.0 TDi: if your Audi A6 2.0 TDi is damaged in an accident that is not your fault, the approach that sticks to the principle of 'putting things back to where they would have been had the accident never occurred' is very clear: it's our service that delivers another Audi A6 2.0 TDi to your door or wherever else in the country you would like it delivered, not asking you to go and pick up some unsuitable little hatchback with the words 'courtesy car' plastered all over it! This principle therefore applies across every type of car, van and light commercial vehicle.
It's still this same legal principle that enables us to complete all the repairs to your vehicle, and recover all your consequential losses, and do all the other great things we do for you as our member - because all of this is still part and parcel of 'putting you back to where you would have been had the accident never occurred'. It's where good law and sound common sense have been brought together.
(2) If you're not at fault for the accident we can recover the costs of all the services we provide from 1 of 2 places rather than from you:
(3) If you're not at fault for the accident we are able to provide all our services without claiming on your insurance which is even better for you:
(4) When you are at fault for the accident and we still recover your vehicle for you, we aren't able to recover the cost of doing this from any third party and so we simply absorb that cost ourselves rather than pass it on to you.

- from the at-fault party's insurance company if the at-fault party is insured; or
- from the Motor Insurance Bureau if the at-fault party is NOT insured
(3) If you're not at fault for the accident we are able to provide all our services without claiming on your insurance which is even better for you:
- You won't have to pay the excess on your insurance policy
- Your no claims bonus will not be affected.
- Your insurance premium won't be affected when your insurance comes up for renewal
(4) When you are at fault for the accident and we still recover your vehicle for you, we aren't able to recover the cost of doing this from any third party and so we simply absorb that cost ourselves rather than pass it on to you.
